In coordination with the Egyptian NGO Support Center, Anna Lindh Foundation for Dialogue between cultures are holding a national conference in respect to its 3 years project for promoting the Children Literature (CL)  and Reading in Egypt, along with other 4 countries (Jordan, Lebanon, Palestine and Syria). The National Conference will discuss the vision of promoting CL Egypt and it will be held on the 5th of May 2008 at Pyramiza Hotel, Dokki, Giza.

 The National Conference Agenda will include the following:

• A welcoming and Introductory Speech regarding the ENOGSC and Anna Lindh Foundations' Activities and missions by Dr. Sherif  Ghoniem, CEO. of ENGOSC.
• Presenting the Official and the national Plan and vision for promoting Children Literature in Egypt by Dr Ahmed Megahed, Head of Centeral office, The National Center for Children's Culture.
• Obstacles and Problems encountering promoting and developing children literature in Egypt and suggestion  solutions to overcome them by Dr Kamal El Din Hussien from Cairo University.
• The Civil Society Organization's vision for promoting children Literature by Ms Azza Kamel from Alwan we Awatr association.
• setting a preliminary plan to promote and develop CL.
