In collaboration with ENGOSC, Novartis Pharmaceutical Company is implementing its 2nd Community Partnership Day on Wednesday the 23rd of April 2008 at El Amiraya Youth Center.
Novartis decides to devote not only money, but also expertise, time and employees’ talent, to establish an effective CSR Program that in its first phase/step addresses the cause of increasing adolescents and youth knowledge and talents in Novartis’ next-door communities in Al Amiriya. The Slogan for this yearn CPD is "Novartis Empowers…..365/365”.
The Proposed project/activities for Novartis Community Partnership Day, CPD, for 2008 aims to play a positive role and build a sustainable relationship between Novartis and its surrounding community (Al Amiriya). The Proposed activities will gradually develop/upgrade The main youth center in the neighborhood, The youth center development/upgrading will be both physical (social club renovation, provision of necessary supports, reading (..etc) equipments, supplies and materials, tools, etc..) and qualitative (upgrading kids and youth knowledge and skills, provision of sessions that build kids and adolescents personalities and develop their talents, etc…). In addition, there will be a monthly action plan to ensure the sustainability of the activities and impact.

You will receive:
I. THE MAIN OBJECTIVES OF THIS EVENT ARE:
- To raise the awareness and increase talents for the youth center visitors and members (mainly kids, adolescents, and youth) on various livelihood topics that shall broaden the horizon in various sectors of life such as personal hygiene, honesty, creativity, commitment, reading, …etc.
- To upgrade the physical environment in the social club in the youth center to make it more attractive to its visitors.
- To build a long term relationship with the visitors of the youth center and Novartis staff.
- Promote for positive health, knowledge and talent messages among the youth centers’ visitors and members.
- Mobilize resources to support the program on the long run.
