The Egyptian NGO Support Center (ENGOSC) has implemented the ‘New Initiative for Leadership in Egypt’ (NILE II),funded by USAID with the support from two other U.S. organizations; the South-East Consortium for International Development (SECID) and the Vital Voices Global Partnership (VV).

NILE II serves as a bridge between national businesses and NGOs to collaborate in addressing socio-economic challenges and priority issues of local communities through:
- Building leadership skills within different sectors (NGOs, the government, the private Sector).
- Facilitating and enabling the dialogue between stakeholders.
- Supporting community development.
- Achieving social and economic development and sustainable growth with local resources.
- NILE II operates in eight governates across Egypt: Cairo, Alexandria, Port-Said, Ismailia, Dakahilia, Aswan, Assiut and Sohag.
