NGO - CB project is tailored for grantee civil society organizations participatingin USAID’s Annual Program Statement for Democracy and Governance aiming to enhance the collaboration between responsive government and informed citizenry that is well represented by better organized and more effective civil society organizationsin Egypt.

The project focuses on building the institutional capacities of grantee NGOs through increasing the opportunities for citizen participation.NGO Capacity Building Project has provided the following to the chosen Civil Society Organizaitons:

• Technical assistance to 27 Egyptian Organization whose concept papers have been approved by USAId to write viable project proposals and hence receive grants from USAID.
• Within its Mandate, NGO-CB has offered direct technical assistance (TA) and Training to 52 APS grantees, to ensure the full and timely realization of their project goals, as well as to improve their organization’s effectiveness.
