| CACP serves to fill the gap between civil society and the private sector in Egypt. Such a mutually beneficial relationship enables both parties to cooperate and effectively work together to attain sustainable development.
CACP also cooperates with the government of Egypt & certain ministries in respect to the field of work & interest, such as health, education or the environment.
Through such cooperation, corporates are given the opportunity to get the proper guidance towards maintaining an effective Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program within their organizations.
CACP currently has three components:
- Corporate Award Program (CAP) which aims at mobilizing financial resources from corporations working in Egypt, to provide sustainable sources of funding for the activities of development and programs of CSOs and NGOs.
- Corporate Volunteerism that encourages corporate staff volunteerism to conduct activities that benefit local communities in different ways e.g. renovating old school buildings, cleaning surrounding environment and planting trees amongst other activities.
- Corporate Capacity Building (CCB) in CSR and Good Governance, when corporate staff is guided to learn more about good governance and about the importance of implementing an effective and efficient CSR program in their corporations.
